The Pro Football Hall of Fame Academy "Trench Warfare Camp" is designed to identify and work with both the up-and-coming and premier offensive and defensive line athletes from across the world. The game of football is won and lost at the line of scrimmage. It takes a strong, tough, physical, and disciplined individual to compete there. We're looking for linemen who want to know what it takes to battle “in the trenches” at the highest level. Our talented and experienced staff, ties to the Hall of Fame, recruiting & college exposure and an ideal training facility make this camp the perfect spot for aspiring lineman to learn and grow their game.

All camp participants and their guests will be fed a variety of great foods inspired from linemen requests. Camp coaches and Former NFL and/or Pro Football Hall of Fame Members will be present to socialize with the attendees and their guests. The Pro Football Hall of Fame Academy’s premier scouting service will give a presentation during dinner and also stay to socialize and answer personal questions any athlete or family member may have.

Coach Chuck and former NFL Coach, Rex Norris
Karl “Chuck” Roesler is the Lineman National Director for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Academy. Chuck’s vision for The Trench Warfare Academy Camps was driven by a passion and understanding for the athletes who battle at the line of scrimmage and sacrifice ego for the good of the team. Chuck played football for the University of Notre Dame as an offensive tackle, graduating in 1986. Chuck has coached 18 years of football and has been part of 8 State Championship teams, sending several athletes to D1, DII, DIII, college careers. Chuck stopped coaching in 2015 so that he could watch his son Karl III play football at The University of Arkansas. In 2018, Chuck returned to coaching with The Pro Football Hall of Fame Academy and plays an active role in helping aspiring lineman reach their personal goals.
Frank Ragnow is an Offensive Lineman for the Detroit Lions. He was drafted by the Lions in the first round as the 20th overall pick in the NFL Draft. A former standout to the University of Arkansas football program, Frank became a three year starter along the interior offensive line and team captain. Frank was a two time Second Team All-SEC, Third-Team All-American and held a key role in the offense. Ragnow graduated in 2017 with a degree in Recreation and Sports Management. Ragnow is ready to actively help aspiring lineman get to the next level and reach their goals.
Darnell Dinkins will be bringing his Professional/collegiate coaching and recruiting skills to the team. After playing for nine seasons with four different organizations in the NFL, the Pittsburgh native will be coaching at the June 8th Trench Warfare Camp. Dinkins career began in 2001 after the New York Giants signed him as a free agent. He continued to play for the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns and the New Orleans Saints. Dinkins won a Super Bowl ring in 2009 as a member of the New Orleans Saints. Prior to his nine-year NFL Tight End career, Dinkins was a three-year starter at free safety in college for Pittsburgh. He came to Pitt as a quarterback before moving to free safety on the collegiate level. Dinkins is looking to help athletes perfect their skills on and off the field. Darnell established Dynamite Sports and ETHIC Training teaching fundamentals to athletes in all sports.
Joe Tronzo is the current Director of Strength and Conditioning for Saint Xavier High School in Louisville, Kentucky. A former walk-on to the University of Louisville football program, Joe became a three year starter at fullback and team captain, graduating in 2010 with a Masters’ Degree in Exercise Physiology. After stints with the Cincinnati Bengals and Tennessee Titans, he returned to his alma mater. Joe is also a member of American Football Without Barriers, a non-profit organization consisting of current and former NFL players who host football camps internationally. Joe maintains a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach credential through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as well as a Level 1 Sports Performance Coach credential through USA Weightlifting.
